After approx. 500 meters you will see the boat club and Säters Camping and next to it the bathing spot, beach and jetties. Along the route there are two rest areas with windbreaks, as well as barbecue spots and swimming jetties. At the end of the lake there is a small sign that leads you to Säters Golfklubb and a climb that passes a small bridge.

You might have to dismount at this point as the hill gets steep. Now you are in the grounds of the golf club and you to cycle between the holes towards the restaurant. Pedestrians and cyclists have the right of way, but do look out for golfers. Keep to the right of the restaurant and cycle straight ahead.

The trip takes in the Skönviks area; a small bathing spot, a swimming pool, a hospital and mental healthcare museum. The cycle path runs along the shoreline and you can follow it back to town via Nya Sjukhusvägen. Ride past the Säters steam-powered saw and take the Gamla Sjukhusvägen road for a couple of hundred metres to get back to Västra Långgatan. The alternative route is to go back to Gruvplan from Gamla Sjukhusvägen road by taking a left immediately before the bridge, along the cycle path that runs beside the Ljusterån river, and down to Torggatan.
