The Lärka House

The summer home of the famous photographer and folklife researcher Karl Lärka (1892–1981) and his wife Svea. Every summer the Society of Friends of Karl Lärka arranges storytelling evenings and a “Lärka Day” with cultural events at the Lärka House.

Information

The cottage is in the middle of the area with the largest Viking Age cemetery in Dalarna. It is managed by Mora Municipality through a foundation, and it can be rented during the summer half of the year by cultural personalities.
