Elizabeth Liljegren was born in 1867 Skålö She was arrested early in the the revival that swept her homeland in the mid-1800s and was already as a young pastor and mother confessor for many in their home region.
Information
In 1893 she became the leader of the slum sisters' work in Sweden. For many of the outcast, she became the solid point where they knew they could turn around and find understanding and she was named "slum colonel." Elizabeth died in 1914 and her legacy was: "By restlessly work, unwavering faith, willingly suffering and great love, she won many souls for her master."
